An official transcript outlines your complete academic record at the university up until the day it is printed.
Your official transcript includes:
- Student Name
- Student ID Number
- Day and Month of Birth
- Program and Faculty
- All courses currently registered in, attempted or completed and grades received
- Grade point average (GPA) for each term
- Units (credits) per course
- Degrees Awarded
- Transfer credits received
- Honours and awards received
- Current academic standing (e.g. probation, suspension) and non-academic misconduct conditions
Note: Your official transcript is a record of your academic activity and cannot be altered in any way.
The fastest way to order a transcript is through your Student Centre.
Please note: Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, transcripts will be mailed once a week.
Transcript request options:
Under the "Other Academics" left hand menu, select "Transcript: Request Official" from the drop-down menu. To view the status of your request, click the "View a Transcript That You Previously Requested" button on the "Request Official Transcript" page. Transcripts are currently being mailed once per week.
You'll receive an email notification once your transcript has been processed. Please ensure that your Student Centre information is up-to-date. If you cannot access the Student Centre, please visit the IT eID Support page for further assistance.
NOTE: Due to COVID-19, the in-person transcript request option is currently unavailable.
Bring your photo ID to Enrolment Services during regular business hours and we'll print your transcripts immediately.
You can also designate a third party to request your transcript in-person from Enrolment Services, a Third Party Authorization form must be completed by the student, approving the release of the transcript.
NOTE: Transcripts cannot be requested over the phone.
If you're applying for graduate or professional school, or to an agency that's requesting an official transcript, ensure that you've followed their instructions. Some institutions or agencies require official transcripts be sent directly to them; others request that you collect transcripts in security-sealed envelopes to forward to them along with other application documents.

Your transcript request will be processed immediately and will reflect your academic record as of the day it was ordered. Transcripts are sent out by mail every Wednesday.
Your transcript will be printed once all grades have been posted for the term you specify. For example, if you request grade posting for winter 2020, your transcript won't be printed until all of your grades for the winter 2020 term have been posted in your Student Centre.
Degree Confer Date
Your transcript will be printed once your degree has been conferred. Conferral is the day of your convocation.
Canada Post: delivery is free of charge using standard mail service.
Courier: Couriers will not deliver to a PO Box unless a telephone number is provided for that location. They also will not deliver to secure apartment buildings. You may request your tracking number for courier deliveries by contacting Enrolment Services.
Within city limits for home delivery, someone must be present to accept the package or the delivery person must have access to the mailbox.
Some postal codes may also fall outside city limits. When in doubt, check with Enrolment Services to avoid a delay in processing.

I have applied for a CR; when will I see the grade on my transcript?
Eligible CR grades are posted within 5 business days of the submission date. When the grade is present on your Student Centre, it will also appear on your transcript. Please refer to grades posted on your Student Centre.
I have applied for a DFA; when will I see the grade on my transcript?
Final grades for deferred final assessments are expected to be posted by June 5, 2020.
Is the University of Calgary sending paper transcripts?
Yes, transcripts are being processed and sent within 10 business days. Once mailed, delivery times may vary. Order through your Student Centre.

You can obtain your electronic unofficial transcript (a "Courses and Credits report") through your Student Centre.
