The University of Calgary provides transcripts for our alumni and current students. A transcript is a record of a student's academic history that including courses taken and grades received.

Official Transcripts

The Office of the Registrar issues transcripts for all University of Calgary students and alumni. Transcripts provide a record of a student's academic history including courses taken and grades received up until the date it’s issued.  An official transcript includes the following information pertaining to the student at the time that it’s issued:

 - Name, student ID number and birthdate (day and month)
 - Program and faculty
 - List of all courses registered in, attempted and/or completed
 - Grades received for courses attempted and/or completed
 - Grade point average (GPA) for each term
 - Units (credits) per course
 - Degrees awarded
 - Transfer credits received
 - Honours and awards received
 - Current academic standing and non-academic misconduct conditions

Note: Your official transcript is a record of your academic activity and it can’t be altered in any way.

Official paper transcript

Delivery - mail or courier

An official transcript provides a record of your academic history. Paper transcripts can be delivered by either mail or courier.

Delivery - digital

An official eTranscript is a secure digital record. UCalgary eTranscripts are issued through MyCreds, eliminating the hassle of paper transcripts. You can digitally share your official eTranscript with anyone who requires your official UCalgary transcript.

Delivery - digital

An unofficial transcript provides an overview of your progress at UCalgary. Unofficial transcripts can be viewed at any time through your Student Centre

2021/2022 Holiday Timelines

Important deadlines for transcript service for the 2021/2022 holiday closure.

Mail and courier delivery times are not guaranteed due to the holiday rush.  Ordering early is recommended.

Dec 16

Last day for physical transcript requests to be processed.  Orders placed December 17th or later will be processed after January 3rd.


Dec 22

Last day for eTranscripts to be processed and made available in  MyCreds.  eTranscript requests made after December 22nd will be processed after January 3rd.


Jan 3

Transcript office reopens from holiday closure.  Requests will be processed in the order in which they were received.

*Transcript processing costs are included in your student services fees each semester. There is no additional cost to process a transcript, other than mailing or sharing fees.
