Biography
Maxwell is enrolled in the Engineering program. He loves solving problems creatively and thinking entrepreneurially. He chose Engineering as his field of study because he believes it will give him the opportunity to innovate new and useful products that positively contribute to the world. He eventually would like to start his own business after finishing his undergraduate degree and perhaps an MBA. He is excited by the freedom and creative control that running a business provides.
Maxwell graduated from the Prince of Wales Mini School in Vancouver, BC. During his high school years, his top three achievements were: acting as Editor of the award winning Prince of Wales yearbook, serving as Undersecretary General of Delegate Affairs for CAIMUN 2019, and co-founding PWMUN, and being chosen as captain of the Kitsilano Water Demons youth dragon boat team.
The choice to attend the University of Calgary for Maxwell was driven by the outstanding educational reputation, beautiful campus, and its convenient location. He wouldn’t have been able to attend the University of Calgary without this prestige award. He is incredibly grateful for the opportunity he has been provided with. He is excited to continue his hobbies of playing the guitar, hiking and canoeing while attending the University of Calgary!
