Biography

Finn graduated from William Aberhart High School, where he won the Computer Science Award twice and competed on his school's robotics team, winning the Collins Aerospace Innovate Award for object manipulation. Finn says choosing the University of Calgary for his post-secondary studies was an easy decision. He grew up with parents who taught at the university and participated in various UCalgary youth programs. Finn is most excited about Artificial Intelligence and hopes to pursue a career researching and developing AI technology. As a recipient of the Schulich Leader's program, he says he is grateful for the opportunities he has had to meet other people interested in his field and the ability to pursue his undergraduate degree while being able to maintain his extracurricular interests.
