Svara P.

Biography

Svara graduated from Joane Cardinal-Schubert High School in Calgary, AB. While there, she won a provincial championship for acrobatic gymnastics, graduated with honours from high school, and spent time volunteering in a hospital.

She chose to study at UCalgary because it was close to home, and she valued the emphasis the university puts on entrepreneurship. She appreciates the creativity that it fosters both within herself and her community.

Svara is enrolled in the Bachelor of Science – Engineering program because it allows her to tackle difficult programs logically and to break things down into approachable tasks.

Svara wants to major in Software Engineering with a minor in Aerospace Engineering so she can someday work in the aerospace industry. She is fascinated by the nuances of space, and she wants to incorporate her interests into her career ambitions.

Svara is most excited to learn more about space. With recent advancements in technology, she believed we will be able to search further and wider than ever before. For her, being a part of this exploration would be a privilege.
