Peer Support

Sometimes you want to talk to someone with the same experience as you.

Drop-in Peer Support Programs

Need someone to talk to? We’re here to listen.

Peer Support offers a welcoming space where trained student volunteers are here to listen and support you.  Whether you want to talk through something that is bothering you, learn about available resources, or just need someone to hear you out – we are here for you.

What to expect:

  • Compassionate, non-judgemental support from trained student volunteers
  • Conversations are confidential, unless there is a risk of harm to yourself or others
  • No appointment needed – just drop in when you are ready!

Why visit Peer Support?

  • Share your experiences and hear how others navigate university life, mental health, and personal challenges
  • Feel less isolated – you are not the only one going through tough times
  • Talk to someone when you are not ready to speak with friends, family, or professionals
  • Ask questions about on- and off-campus mental health supports in a safe, informal setting
