Get a massage right here on campus. We have reasonable rates and appointment times to fit your schedule.

We offer professional massage therapy for UCalgary students, faculty, staff, postdoctoral scholars and the public. To book an appointment, use our online booking system or call 403.210.9355 (select option #3).

    Massage therapy is good for your well-being and is one of the best antidotes for stress. It improves your body's ability to heal and helps relieve pain, illness and dysfunction.

    Your therapist will work with you to find the best treatment for your specific concerns and goals.

Here is some helpful information to help you get ready for your massage therapy appointment.

  1. Booking an appointment

    To book an appointment, use our online booking system or call 403.210.9355 (select option #3).

  2. Insurance

    Check your undergraduate student health plan or graduate student health plan for the current rates of coverage for massage therapy. 

    UCalgary employees should check current coverage through Alberta Blue Cross.

    You might need referral from a medical doctor to be eligible for coverage, check with your extended health care provider.

  3. Cancellation policy

    Please give one full business days’ notice if you need to cancel an appointment.

    You might be billed for late cancellations or missed appointments. Fees vary by service type.  

Our massage services are available for reasonable rates. We can direct bill with some insurance plans, check with your provider to find out.

  1. Linda Belenchuk, Registered Massage Therapist

    Linda has over twenty years of experience in the massage field. The massage techniques she uses most often are deep therapeutic, cranial sacral, trigger point therapy and cupping. Linda enjoys working on the diverse clients that benefit from her skills and education in kinesiology, religious studies and psychology.

  2. Garner Blieske, Registered Massage Therapist

    Garner has been a massage therapist and fitness trainer for 25 years. He enjoys applying his passion for fitness and healthy living in his work. Garner has the opportunity to work with athletes in a wide range of sports, as well as many people with chronic and acute conditions and injuries.

  3. Mavis Wahl-LeBlanc, Registered Massage Therapist/MT Senior Lead

    Mavis  has been a Sport Massage Fellow since 1998. She started out working as a junior hockey trainer and expanded into working with high performance athletes. Her career has led her to work with Canada’s National Teams at five Olympic Games. She specializes in deep tissue massage, myofascial release, sports massage and rehab.
