If you're a UCalgary student, call 403.210.9355 to arrange an appointment. Virtual, telephone and in-person appointments are available. Virtual physician appointments will be given to you within an a.m. or p.m. timeframe (the physician will call you between 9 a.m. and noon, or noon to 4:30 p.m.). The appointments aren't time specific. Selected evenings may be available. If you are an out of province student, in order to see a physician at our clinic, please make an in person appointment, and bring your out-of-province health card. If you are a Quebec resident, patients are charged for service and arrange reimbursement through Quebec Health Care.
Traditional walk in appointments have changed. Please call 403.210.9355 to book an urgent, same day appointment. These appointments have limited availability. The receptionist will arrange for you to speak with a nurse to be triaged to potentially receive the next available appointment, or students may be booked for a virtual or in-person appointment based on specific needs. Staff and faculty can also arrange for a time to see a physician (in-person or phone visit) for “urgent” concerns only.

Most of our medical and mental health services are covered by provincial health care.
Nutrition, massage and chiropractic appointments have reasonable fees.
Any uninsured services (sick note, third party medical, etc.) also have fees.
Our clinic accepts Visa, Mastercard, debit and cheque as forms of payment.
Students without valid medical insurance can still access services, such as psychiatry, for a fee.
Student health plans
Undergraduate students are automatically enrolled in the health and dental plan through the Students’ Union.
Graduate students have their health and dental plan through the Graduate Students’ Union.
International UCalgary students should verify they have valid medical insurance.
Out of province billings are not permitted for virtual care visits unless you are a Northwest Territories resident. If you are residing out of province, please seek in person medical care in your local area.
