Alberta
- The Alberta Jobs Now program provides up to $370 million to help private and non-profit businesses
- Alberta Innovates: A number of funding opportunities to support health research and innovation activities.
- Canada-Alberta Job Grant (CAJG): provides Alberta provincial government funding to help Alberta-based employers invest in training initiatives supporting workforce development.
- TECTERRA HIRE Program: Funding available to Alberta-based geomatics companies. Receive up to 50% of the new hire’s salary

Student Work Placement Program (SWPP): grants of $5,000 - $7,000 available per student hired. Employers that create new opportunities for students in STEM and business may be eligible for this wage subsidy. Contact one of the program delivery partners below to learn more. You do not need to be a member of the organization to take advantage of the program.

Canada Summer Jobs: a Canadian government grant that offers support for employers providing supervised career-related work experience for youth employees.

Career Focus Program – Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada: help mentor and coach youth aged 15-30 by providing them with jobs in agricultural, agri-food or veterinary fields.

Connect Canada Internship: supports the hiring of an intern in any research field.

Industrial Research Assistance Program Youth Employment Program: receive wage subsidies for providing innovation-related work experience to youth. Must be an organization of 500 or fewer employees.

International Youth Internship Program: helps Canadian post-secondary graduates between 19-30 get experience overseas. Multi-year funding is available for organizations with partners in development countries. Must offer opportunities of six months or longer.

Young Canada Works at Building Careers in English and French: promote the success of Canada's two official languages by providing opportunities for students to build their bilingual skills.

Young Canada Works at Building Careers in Heritage Organizations: if your organization is involved in arts, cultural, historical or other heritage-related industries, you are eligible for funding support for hiring youth.
