Real Estate Studies

Real Estate Studies

Bachelor of Commerce (BComm)

Why choose Real Estate Studies?

Real estate scholars ask questions such as: What is the highest and best use for a given land development site? What are the financing methods available to make a project successful? How do you mitigate multiple stakeholder concerns to move a project forward?

Real estate scholars explore best practices in leadership, entrepreneurship, sustainability and stakeholder relations in the context of the land development and real estate industry. You’ll gain foundational business knowledge related to real estate and develop an applied understanding of the field of real estate by learning from industry experts. You'll complete projects, formal presentations, group projects and various case studies during your degree.

Career opportunities

As a graduate of the Bachelor of Commerce degree with a concentration in real estate studies, you'll be prepared for career opportunities in the global real estate operating environment. A degree in commerce can also be used as a stepping-stone to graduate studies or another professional degree such as law, medicine, veterinary medicine, or education.
