We encourage students to apply early! Whether for admissions, transcript submission, awards or residence, submitting early allows us to help you through the application process and next steps to join UCalgary.

It's important to know which deadlines apply to you and the program you want to apply to. Some programs have program-specific deadlines. Once you apply, your Student Centre will have details specific to your application. Check your Student Centre and email regularly.

  • Transcript deadline: Fall transfer applicants — early admission 
    Deadline for transfer students to submit all transcripts to ensure you're guaranteed an early admission evaluation.

March 1

  • Application deadline: Fall undergraduate admission 
    Deadline to submit your application or make changes to your program choices.
  • Application deadline: Equitable and Inclusive Admission 
    Deadline to add Equitable and Inclusive Admission to your undergraduate application.
  • Document deadline: Fall Health Science undergraduate program 
    Deadline to submit supplemental documentation for Bachelor of Health Sciences.

March 4

  • Document deadline: Fall Dance, Music and Visual Studies undergraduate programs 
    Deadline to submit virtual audition information (Dance, Music) and portfolio (Visual Studies).

March 15

  • Document deadline: Fall undergraduate admission 
    Deadline to submit unofficial transcripts and supporting documents required for admission. Transfer applicants must present transcripts that show completion of or registration in all required courses for admission.
  • Document deadline: Fall Equitable and Inclusive Admission applicants 
    Deadline to submit Equitable and Inclusive Admission personal statement.

  • Course completion deadline: Fall undergraduate transfer applicants
    Deadline for completion of all courses required for admission

May 1

  • Acceptance deadline: Fall undergraduate admission 
    Deadline to accept fall offer of admission dated April 1. 
    If you receive an offer dated after April 1, you have 30 days from the date you received it to accept the offer. Learn how to accept your offer.
  • Application deadline: Residence Guarantee 
    Deadline for high school applicants to submit an application for a guaranteed space in residence for your first year at UCalgary.
  • Document deadline: Indigenous Admission Supplementary Process 
    Deadline to submit the supplementary application and Indigenous citizenship and/or membership documentation to be considered under the Indigenous Admission Supplementary Process.

June 1

  • Document deadline: Fall undergraduate transfer applicants 
    Deadline for transfer applicants to submit final official transcripts showing completion of all courses required for admission.

June 30

  • Course completion deadline: Fall undergraduate high school applicants 
    Deadline for completion of all high school courses required for admission.
