The Arch

Reminiscent of the chinook arch, a weather event common to Southern Alberta that drives in warm air from the mountains, this repurposed bridge span stands at the entrance to campus.

A space to share knowledge and turn ideas into practical solutions, the Hunter Hub is dedicated to helping students develop entrepreneurial ways of thinking.

Lab Next Makerspace

This makerspace features freely available technology to develop and design your own projects. Located in the Taylor Family Digital Library, you can print and scan in 3D, use milling machines or editing suites.

Unearthed during the construction of campus buildings, these large painted rocks have become an important part of UCalgary culture. They are used by students for artistic expression and to advertise events.

Co-ops, practicums and internships
