Biography

"Fail often, fail better"

Taro is proud to be a part of the Haskayne School of Business because of the unique combination of academic rigour and extracurricular and professional opportunity. He is passionate about entrepreneurship, technology, and forcing his friends to listen to his controversial takes about his favourite sports teams.

Taro aspires to work in the intersection of finance, analytics, and entrepreneurship in his future career. He also hopes to continue and expand Hockey 4 Homelessness, the charitable initiative he co-founded to help Calgary’s homeless population.

Taro believes that the key to success lies in the paths, lifestyles, and goals of others, and he enjoys learning the stories and experiences of those around him. He is excited to join Scholars Academy and to meet so many ambitious, talented, and hardworking individuals.
