Biography
"What the world needs most is more people who have come alive." - Howard Thurman
As a computer science student, I have a deep love for technology and math in general. So far, this has led me to volunteer as a host for technology meetups and participate in data science competitions on Kaggle. I am also the Junior VP, Student Engagement for the Competitive Programming Club.
Beyond academics, I know that it's important to be surrounded by great people in order to grow. I'm privileged to know quite a few through my community service. I have volunteered as Curious the Chameleon at the Calgary Public Library and as a math tutor for the YMCA. In high school, I was involved with Model UN, the Young Investors Club, and the swim and track and field teams. On campus, I play spikeball and basketball intramurals, and compete regularly in the squash box league.
I am passionate about my goals and look forward to continuing to develop my technical and leadership abilities.
