Welcome Centre
The Welcome Centre is a short-run transition program for incoming students new to living in Calgary. We open every year in August and close before the fall term begins.
The Welcome Centre (MSC 275) returns on January 2 to 10!
New-to-Calgary students can visit the Welcome Centre for resources on campus and city life. The Welcome Centre also hosts drop-in social events that are open to all students! Visit the Welcome Centre website for more information on upcoming events. Lean more.
Attend a Welcome Centre social event
Connecting with fellow new international students is an important part of starting your studies. You’ll have an opportunity to meet others, socialize, and start building community. You’ll also get a chance to learn more about different social events through other UCalgary offices.
