Get involved in convocation

Convocation is a significant milestone in our students’ experience and an exciting way to celebrate their achievements with family and friends. We rely deeply on the support of those across the university community to make convocation a success.

There are several opportunities available for our upcoming ceremonies on June 3–10, 2026, and we would greatly appreciate your assistance with any of the following roles:

• Degree distribution: Distribute degree packages to students.
• Pinners/ambassadors: Assist with pinning hoods.
• Ushers: Guide guests and attendees to designated areas and assist with crowd management.
• Robing room assistants: Provide support in the robing room before and after the ceremony.
• Gown rental/ gown return attendants

The time commitment required for these roles varies. 

Faculty, staff, students, alumni and community members are encouraged to support our convocation ceremonies.
