This research group inspects current ways of producing, processing, distributing, and consuming food; and how they relate to overarching issues such as global economic integration, immigration, language and culture, welfare state transformation, and the environmental crisis or the crisis of care work. Calgary-based Creative Destruction Lab (CDL) - Rockies are launching CDL Ag, a new stream designed to help grow seed-stage science and technology-based start-ups in the agriculture and food space. The program will offer companies a chance to work with world-class scientists, economists, experienced entrepreneurs and business students, through an objective-based process, with the goal of commercializing and scaling their enterprises.
