Maryam Parastar received her BSc and master degree in Textile Engineering from the Amirkabir University of Technology, one of the highest ranked universities in Iran. Her field of study for my master degree was Nanofibrous structures. Interested in fabricating nanocomposites with biomedical applications, her MSc project was about the electrospinning of PCL/Chitosan nanocomposite which contains Rosemary for wound healing issues. She continues her education in PhD at the university of Calgary under the supervision of Prof. UT Sundararaj.
