The Biometric Technologies Laboratory (BT Lab) is a research facility affiliated with the Department of Electrical and Software Engineering (ESE), Schulich School of Engineering, the University of Calgary.

It was created in 2003 with the funding support of the Canadian Foundation for Innovations, matching funds from the Government of Alberta, Faculty of Sciences, and ESE and CS Departments.
