Biography

Born in Liverpool and raised in Toronto, Zarqa Nawaz is best known as the creator of the Canadian television series “Little Mosque on the Prairie”. Nawaz has worked in various capacities with both the CBC and CTV and has written comedy pilots for ABC, CBS, NBC and FOX. Her work has been showcased at the Toronto International Film Festival and on CBC Television and Radio.
