Biography
Frances Wright is the founder and was the original President of the Famous 5 Foundation which was established on October 18, 1996 (the anniversary of the 'Persons' Case) to honour the Famous 5 and other Canadian women. In 2004, she received the Governor General Award in Commemoration of the Persons Case which honours those who have made outstanding contributions to the quality of life for women in Canada. She is currently the Executive Director of the Canadian Centre for Male Survivors of Child Sexual Assault which provides support, assistance and healing to adult survivors through treatment, education, research and advocacy.
