Types of advising appointments

Booked Appointment (45 min)

Visit elevate.ucalgary.ca to book an online or in-person appointment and guarantee your time slot.

Please select the "Exploratory Advising - Prospective, Open Studies, Undecided" menu option and book using the "Undecided/Exploring Degree Programs" appointment type.

What to expect in an appointment

You'll discuss your interests, strengths, and ambitions, and research degree programs that suit you. Think about these questions: Does this degree allow you to explore your interests? Does it lead to your future goals? Will it include courses you will enjoy that align with your skills?

 

 

 

Drop-in Advising (20 Min)

These appointments are shorter, first-come, first-serve, and limited each day. Check in at the Student Success Centre front desk (3rd Floor, TFDL). If your needs are not as urgent or you would prefer a longer appointment, we recommend booking an appointment.
