Biography

Torey Erdman is a registered nurse at the Rockyview General Hospital in the Operating Room (OR). She completed her Bachelor of Nursing Degree at the University of Calgary in 2007 and completed her Perioperative Nursing Certification through the Calgary Health Region in 2008. Torey completed her specialty CPN C (Certificate in Perioperative Nursing) through the Canadian Nursing Association in 2016.

Working as a Clinical Nurse Educator both at the Alberta Children’s Hospital and Rockyview General Hospital from 2016-1019 allowed Torey to provide leadership in planning, co-ordination, implementation and evaluation of educational activities for both students and staff of the OR.

Frequently acting as preceptor to fourth year nursing students and perioperative students, Torey enjoys being a mentor to new staff. From 2011-2018 Torey has volunteered for many abroad health missions in which she offered her perioperative skillset to patients in Africa, Guatemala and Ecuador.
