Biography

Laurel Green is an adventurous arts leader and a nationally respected theatre maker. As Festival Producer for One Yellow Rabbit’s 2020 High Performance Rodeo, Calgary's International Festival of the Arts, she oversaw the planning and execution of 27 shows at a dozen venues across downtown Calgary for three wild weeks in January. Laurel holds a Masters degree from the University of Toronto, and the Rozsa Arts Management Program at the University of Calgary’s Haskayne School of Business. She is part of the Cultural Leadership Program cohort at Banff Centre for the Arts & Creativity, and an active peer support volunteer with Wellspring Calgary. In 2019, Laurel was named one of Avenue Magazine’s Top 40 Under 40 for her work as an artist and community activator.
