Biography

Claudia Bustos has built a career bringing communities together at the intersections of science, arts and culture through programs, dialogue, and public spectacles. She has held numerous informal learning roles at Beakerhead, the University of Calgary, the Edmonton Heritage Council and TELUS Spark. She is currently Director, Creative Environment at TELUS Spark, Calgary’s Science Centre where she leads the exhibition and visitor experience. She is motivated by the vastness and diversity of the human experience. Claudia holds a B.Sc in Behaviour, Cognition and Neuroscience from the University of Windsor. She is currently pursuing her M.Ed in Interdisciplinary Studies at the Werklund School of Education at the University of Calgary. Born in Santiago, Chile, and raised in Windsor, Ontario, she is proud to make Calgary, Alberta her home with her partner Craig and their chubby dog Bruce. She identifies as Latinx, and her pronouns are she/her.
