All students are welcome to attend this fair, which hosts employers that are interested in hiring from a wide variety of faculties. This is the best time to get started on your summer employment, co-op or internship search.

  • Job Hunting Tip: Many employers hire several months in advance of students graduating, start early on your job search!

Interested in working in education? This fair is a great opportunity to explore teaching opportunities both locally and abroad. Open to students in the Werklund School of Education, as well as students from other faculties (some positions abroad do not require an education-specific degree).

  • Career Tip: Some employers interview on the spot, so bring a resume and dress professionally!

Connect with employers that are dedicated to Indigenous recruitment and representation in the workforce. The event will feature networking opportunities with employers, an Indigenous alumni panel hosted at the Writing Symbols Lodge. And did somebody say free food and door prizes?

Indigenous Student Career Day is open to all Indigenous post-secondary students and alumni in the Calgary area.

Our fall career fair is going virtual this year!

Suitable for students from all faculties, the Virtual Career Fair is a great opportunity to connect with employers and discover student opportunities or future internship/co-op positions.

Career Tip

Before attending a career fair, check the list of companies attending and research their services and opportunities, prepare questions that you can ask the employers.

Avoid asking, "Are you hiring?" or "Do you have a job?"

The goal of a fair is to learn about careers and companies. Any job openings can be found on their website or CareerLink.

Information sessions

Employer information sessions are one of the best ways to find out if an organization is the right fit for you.

They're a great way to meet recruiters and experts in your field of study, get an introduction to the company's culture, learn about their hiring process and discover career opportunities.

Register early, as spaces are limited!

Career Tip

People generally like talking about their jobs and helping out.  Set up Information Interviews and if you don’t know how to then visit Career Services.
