Nik Josafatow

Nik is a MSc Neuroscience student who grew up in southern British Columbia and completed his BSc with Great Distinction at the University of Lethbridge in 2022 with a double major in Neuroscience (Honours) and Psychology. Supervised by Dr. Chantel Debert, he is involved in SHRED Concussion’s Blood Biomarker Sub-Study with a focus on BDNF, cortisol, and resilience. Supervised by Dr. Masami Tatsuno, he won an NSERC Undergraduate Research Award in 2021 to fund his summer research investigating memory consolidation – he continued this research as an Honours Thesis. He recently won the HBI Graduate Recruitment Scholarship to fund his MSc.
