Graduated as physiotherapist in 2003 (Turku polytechnic), following 5 years of work as physiotherapist and personal training manager, started MSc studies in University of Jyväskylä in 2008 - MSc degree 2011, MSc thesis project title: "Evidence of conservative treatment for overuse injuries - analysis of systematic reviews"
After MSc, worked in Kisakallio Sports Institute first as a teacher and as chief specialist (preventive training and testing for athletes, work-place well-being projects). Started PhD studies in University of Calgary in July 2019 (supervisor Kati Pasanen).
