Biography

Born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, Isabella F. was an imaginative and curious child. She could always be found making up stories, dances, and songs. This curiosity and fascination for the world around her was the catalyst for her love of reading, which has only grown stronger with time. Books, both fiction and factual, have always been her source of knowledge, comfort, and insight.

When Isabella was twelve years old she joined Royal Canadian Air Cadets, a program for youth aged 12 to 18. Through this program she’s grown as a leader, instructor, and citizen, as well as receiving many qualifications. This summer Isabella received her glider pilot’s licence after attending an intensive seven-week course in Gimli, Manitoba. In addition to community service performed through Air Cadets, she also volunteers with organizations such as the Bibles for Missions Thrift Store and the Navy League of Canada.

In her free time, Isabella enjoys activities such as playing her flute, singing, acting, reading, writing, flying, and adding to her unicorn collection.
