CAPDHHE National Conference 2023

The inspiration for this concept is drawn from the mesmerizing flames of a roaring fire. In this context, the fire is a metaphor for the indomitable spirit essential to fuel the tireless journey towards achieving equity. This artistic representation symbolizes people and their pivotal role in cultivating inclusive spaces through decisive actions and unwavering accountability. Though each figure is portrayed in isolation, their collective contributions ultimately culminate in creating a greater whole, perpetuating the momentum of this vital movement.

The Canadian Association for the Prevention of Discrimination and Harassment in Higher Education (CAPDHHE) is delighted to announce the University of Calgary as the host of the 2023 CAPDHHE National Conference.

We are grateful to Dr. Malinda Smith, Vice-Provost, Associate Vice-President of Research (Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion), and Professor of political science at the University of Calgary, who will act as Conference Chair.
