Jodi Kovitz
Visionary leader and advocate for women in technology
Jodi Kovitz is an experienced, visionary CEO leader and a transformative global brand builder. She is the CEO of the Human Resources Professional Association (HRPA). A growth strategist and a passionate connector of people, Jodi was the founder and CEO of #movethedial, which focused on the growth and equitable participation and leadership of all women in tech.
Fanny Wedro
Holocaust survivor, educator, and philanthropist
Holocaust survivor, educator, and philanthropist Fanny Wedro has dedicated her life to teaching about the Holocaust and combating hate and discrimination. Despite facing great adversity, she emerged with a strong will to educate and prevent history from repeating itself.
Order of the University of Calgary Recipients

The Order of the University of Calgary honours recipients who have a record of exemplary and distinguished service to the university. The nominees can be current or past members of the university community.
John (Jac) Andrews
A Champion of Mentorship, Collaboration and Community Engagement
Dr. Jac Andrews has dedicated more than 30 years to advocating for children's diverse learning needs in schools and communities. Through fostering positive relationships between the University of Calgary and the community, Dr. Andrews has championed excellence in institutional collaboration.
Paul Kubes
A Leading Mind in Inflammation Research and Critical Care
Dr. Paul Kubes, one of Canada’s most esteemed immunologists, is a world leader in acute and chronic inflammation disease research. Holding a PhD from Queen's University and post-doctoral training under Dr. Neil Granger in Shreveport, Louisiana, Dr. Kubes joined the University of Calgary in 1991 as a member of the Department of Immunology. His work has centered on inflammation and its role in acute sepsis, utilizing in vivo high-fidelity dynamic imaging to study white blood cells' activation and interaction with other tissues.
