COVID-19 Relief Funds
COVID-19: How you can help
At the University of Calgary, our response to the COVID-19 outbreak is two-fold: ensuring our students, faculty and staff are safe and healthy, and rallying our researchers and clinicians to address this global crisis.
We have heard from many members of the UCalgary community who want to support our students and researchers. To address urgent needs brought about by COVID-19, we’ve established two relief funds. Gifts to these funds will be matched dollar for dollar, up to $2,500 per gift while matching funds remain.
COVID-19 Student Relief
COVID-19 abruptly forced students into new academic and financial realities. The impact is immediate and significant, especially for those already facing higher levels of debt, food insecurity and mental health concerns. Your support will help students disproportionately affected by COVID-19, allowing them to focus on their academic goals during this challenging time.
COVID-19 Research Fund
UCalgary and the Cumming School of Medicine are already invested in mitigating the impact of the COVID-19 global health crisis. Working in all areas, including clinical trials, basic science and improved service delivery, our research teams have quickly mobilized to create positive change. Your support will help further this important work.
